Since I’m waking up early, a little exercise in the morning helps keep me awake. It works out nicely. :) I did some sit ups the other day, and I’m still sore just from that. I guess I need it. =P

It’s the first of March tomorrow and I’m going to the gym. I was there yesterday, I’ll be there on Saturday, I’ll be there on Tuesday, and so on…
Now onto a new fitness goal! :D

I’ve been at the gym thrice a week for the past two weeks and it’s been going really well for me. Apart from feeling better from the exercise, there’s a giddy feeling of accomplishment after every session, and I’ve also been sharper and more alert lately.
Apparently, it’s not just good for the body but good for the brain, too.
I’ll be ready to cross this off the list come March. By then it should be a habit.
...keep thinking to myself is “fat fat fatty fat” because I’ve been an incredibly lazy person with respect to this goal.
Maybe it’s because the weather took a turn for the frigid, or there were too many events in the past week that kept me busy with entertaining and food, and not motivated for the gym.
Today, I get back on the wagon…or treadmill in this case. I figure I can stand to lose another 10 lbs, and hopefully by summer I will.
Argh!

I am aching all over. The trainer put me on a high-rep program so I’m doing three sets/twenty reps of everything. I’m amazed that I’m still alive. It’s a good ache though, of the healthy variety. This one’s telling me there’s progress, so I’m still all good. However, pain is still pain no matter which way I put it.
I’m not going out today unless someone volunteers to carry me around on piggyback. I’ll just stay home and take it easy.

I’ve pretty much neglected this goal for a while, but I’ve got updates! I went back to the gym this week (I’ve been there Monday and Wednesday, and again tomorrow) and I’ve been walking the days in between. I like the way this new schedule is coming along: three days at the gym and the days I don’t go there, I do something active.
Another thing is that now I’m doing this all for me, which is the best reason to do anything at all!
...to get back on this. I mean I go to the gym often enough, but I’ve been slipping food-wise (lots of baking being the culprit) and I think in order to do more than maintain I need to hit the gym more than what I’ve been doing because the baking bug has bit and it ain’t going away soon! grin
And it’s the start of the new year, too! Oh well, I’ll get back into the habit again soon. I think it’s just the cold weather—it makes me want to stay wrapped in a blanket all day, drinking hot chocolate.
...I think I’ll go back to the gym. Came back from my vacation with a cold and now feeling a little surreal.
Damn cold.
But I should be ok by tomorrow and ready to hit the treadmill. Or something.
Well, I do skip some days, but I usually remember. Today I played DDR until my lungs hurt! It was fun, though. :)
