never say die — 4 months ago
I cannot tell you how many times life has managed to get in the way, but this goal is not going to die.

Looking at the way things are going, I’m going to be late for this one. But I’m still going to make it (late), yes I am. For the love of Jelly Bellies among other things. I’ll throw in cinnamon imperials, hot tamales, and atomic fireballs just to up the ante.

Looking at the way things have gone in the past few months, I might be a little late in getting there… But I’m getting there, oh yes siree, oh boy I am.
(Because eating Jelly Bellies are worth it, among other things.)
But wait, do they even have Jelly Bellies in South America? I’d be disappointed to get there to suddenly find out there are none. :(

199 days to go and I am officially freaking out. (Okay, that’s really 167 because 199 is the deadliest deadline, but anyway…)
Should I eat my jelly beans now or later after I get there?

Bestiarosa is on his way to Brazil as I type this. Oh gawd teh envy, seriously, and why did I ever say I was never going to eat Jelly Bellies again? Hehe. Okay, I’m cutting the melodramatics now.
Aside from my punishment of not being able to eat Jelly Bellies forever, Bestiarosa also promised to send me his copy of The Satanic Verses when I get to Santiago. Since when did I get this cheap that I wouldn’t buy the book myself? But hey, that is what you call motivation, no matter how ridiculous it may sound. I try to get my grubby hands (flippers?) on whatever measly little piece of egging on that I can get because every little bit helps.

I haven’t been to 43T in about two weeks so when I saw the new personal dare whatchamacallit, I decided to test it… only to discover that I had no idea what it was about and that I now couldn’t undo it. D’oh!
It doesn’t matter, though. At least now I really will be pushing myself to accomplish this goal because if there’s anything, I love me my jelly bellies. Especially the cinnamon (both regular and hot), watermelon, coconut, toasted marshmallow and strawberry cheesecake varieties.
So yeah, I’m going to South America. In 244 days, as of writing, or less. Hopefully much less.

They’re already waiting for me!!!

This would be the best reason to go and stay a tad longer than intended.
Heh.
Saving up for that trip, yes I am.

This could happen sooner than I think!
Now I’ve got to buckle down, work hard, and save… That might mean no new books, no new clothes, no new nothing for the next how many months. Harhar.

Soon soon soon soon soon, before life eats the rest of me up!
All the more reason to save money. Which leads me to think, maybe I should start playing the lotto or… is it possible that this could be done with the help of the Bank of Dad? Haha.
