but I`m ticking off the goal, partly because I`ve been quite a lot better at it lately, and partly because I`m going through my list to make room for my priorities for 2007. I have two other similar goals, especially the one about setting up flylady routines, so I`m retiring this one.

is slowly regaining her sanity (unfortunately?)
But I got a bug tonight and did probably a week and a half’s worth at once. :)
And I’m sure the project that I’m planning for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (complete room overhaul) will cancel out my debt for the entire last year!

I just checked and found that 28 people are currently working toward this goal! I’m in good company! I haven’t been doing this with any consistency. I’m going to pick this one up again, now that my schedule is slowing down a little now (for the most part).

"..it's the try that counts. Win, lose, or draw
It’s said that new habits take 90 days to implement. So, I want to be able to say I’ve done this for most of 3 months, then I’ll mark it as complete.
I spent about ten minutes planning this a.m., again. I need to plan less and DO more!

when to do it. I think that qualifies as organizing.
Also washed a fair amount of dishes while I was cooking and afterward.
So, I can count this done for yesterday.
Today we’re putting up the shelf that is to augment our headboard. DH is doing the actual work on this, but the bed has been stripped and I’ve been working on cleaning up one of the end tables in the bathtub with Murphy’s, etc. (They’re probably getting sold.)
So I guess I can say this is done today too.

is to go through a closet in the spare bedroom and throw away half of the content. I have just discovered that I have managed to fill almost an entire closet with my DOGS stuff! How can dogs have that much stuff?? It`s insane! Some of it are things I need, like grooming things to take care of their fur, meds and first aid stuff just in case etc. But a lot of it is just rubbish, half chewed up toys, leashes and collars I don`t use anymore, meds and doggie biscuits that are way past sell-by date, you name it, I probably have it in there. It must go.
But, I guess the positive thing about the whole mess is it shows I love my dogs, wow, I`ve spent a lot of time and money on these two little guys these past one and a half years!

has gotten into me? Holey Buckets… the basement, I’m cleaning it! My trash can is full, the wood is stacked, and the recycles in the proper place to be recycled!

Pats on the back please!
I spent 1 1/2 hours today going through toys… gleaning out those that are not played with and packing them away to ship to their family. 9 boxes! 9 boxes and I’ve not even scratched the surface… not to mention I still need to do the clothes and other kiddo neccesities!
I’m wondering… would this also count towards my goal of throwing away 30 things I don’t need?

this is going a little bit better! I`ve made a goal to make flylady routines, and follow ideas from the Flylady wepage, which I really like. I`m keeping this goal as well though, as I want to stay part of the team!
Anyway, I`ve started the 5 minute room rescue (as described in another entry here) and I can already see some results, very encouraging. I`ve also tried to spend a little time every day to clean and organize the rest of the appartment, and work on better routines to maintain that once I`ve actually organized. It`s working out quite well. My challenge is not to do to much though. Simply because I tend to get very perferctionistic once I start these organizing/decluttering projects, and work very hard on it, only to end up exhausted and give up. So, a little every day…

will also become a priority. Although, I probably need to spend more than 10 minutes a day on it.
