(vaccuuming is a thought that didn’t occur, nor did making the bed, but this, i say, is ok)
I moved to a smaller room recently. Having to fit my stuff to smaller space forced me to keep everything in it’s own ‘home’ and be disciplined enough to put them back after I use it.
And now I keep the things I don’t use often in the closet, so there aren’t too many things laying around everywhere.
One major cause of my disorganization is I use things, and put them down anywhere. And then when I want to use it again I’ll have to search it up. Now that everything has it’s own ‘home’, I know where to look.
I have to keep reminding myself to put the things back to it’s own designated place.
it is curious when I get cheers about exactly the things i’ve been thinking about. in mysterious ways, ze univers verks. :)
zo.. i cleared out my desk today, and its arranged in neat and small piles of stuff. The rest of the books and materials are neatly stowed away on shelves and in drawers. I created a “writing” drawer, where all the writing implements go, and another drawer with “health and beauty” stuff. (Its in my writing desk too).
So happy, yoda is! :)
reward oneself with salsa, i shall. (ze dance not ze food, alzo zat vud be nice too) :)
I have a new book, Getting Things Done by David Allen. What’s so special about this book? It started an ‘organising cult’ on the net – google ‘GTD’ and you’ll see.
Will write more about it when I have actually read the book…
i have to figure a way to make all these goals happen. i need to put up milestones and baby steps… :s
and i need to be resourceful and use what i do have, like my organiser and calendars.
