read and pass on 50 books from bookcrossers in 2006

I didn’t end up passing on many books, but I’m going to give it another try.

But I’m trying again in 2007!!!

I read too much books for review so I fell behind with this goal. I will try again in 2007.

I have one question though. If I pass the book, does it have to be passed to another bookcrosser?

Didn’t make this goal for 2006 – trying again for 2007!

I stopped keeping track over here at about #54 but did continue to pass on books after I reached that mark. Will try to keep track better in 2007.

Ladies and….do we have any gentlemen participating in this challenge at the moment? Well anyway, I give you - Book # 50!! Finished with a whopping 9 hours to spare! Yes!

The Tiger Rising by Kate DiCamillo. Pulled out of MarciNYC’s bookbox in April of ‘05, now reserved for Morsie, and one of the very last of my backlogged TBR’s owed out to people, too!

Can’t say I loved the book though. I kept thinking it was the sort of thing adults push on kids because it’s enriching or something, and kids think “yeck.” Or at least I would have. But then I was a tough critic. :P

I had really hoped to pull this off before the end of the year but it wasn’t to be. So I’ll give it a chance again in 2007.
