Filming the event 2 years ago

I wonder if we should preserve the event for history – it would be nice to film some of the entertainment and I can edit it down for the web. I’d suggest posting it to Google Video and you could all embed it in your websites and blogs if you like.

It would be nice to get the braver people to say a little piece to camerea – how far they’v travelled, what they’ve thought of it so far, that kind of thing.

Due to uncontrollable circumstances my crash for Saturday night after the meet-up has fallen through! And my backup crash for Saturday night has also fallen through! Does anyone know of any cheap (or not-so-cheap, seeing as I’m desperate) places to stay in the vicinity of the meet? B and Bs, hotels, anything? Or can anyone offer a sofa, floor, or even a reasonably dry bath tub? I’m housetrained and I won’t steal anything, though I might use up all your teabags.

Dear All,

I am still so pissed that this has been organised the week I am on hols and out of the country, however I wanted to wish you all the very best and I’m sure you will have a great time.

Special mention to Paolo, Ansnasm, Bruno Girin, Nobodysperfect, Cornelie, Casey, Cubalibre, Mellisa Axel, Travellover, and anyone else who has cheered or commented on my blurbs.

This site is many things to many people and the fact that later this week you plan to meet up is a credit to you all.
