engage in cheer wars with people to help them reach 1000 cheers given

..we have been engaged in a mutual and tacit cheer war, to the extent that I have now cheered every one of his goals, even the one I don’t agree with! We’re both well past the 1000 mark, but it’s still a war. He was a bit narked, actually, he was working on reducing his cheer deficit and I buggered it up for him. Sorry, cubles. My heart was in the right place.

I’m just a few cheers short of 3000, with none to give, and I’ve got an itchy cheering finger.
