40 at 40

Even strangers can have an impact on you. Don’t be shy – talk to people – you never know what someone might bring to the table. It might teach you something, inspire you, bring happiness for a moment or two. Who said not to talk to strangers? Hubbabubba – that is so not true – just be careful when you talk to them but you should FOR SURE TALK TO STRANGERS!

32. Kingdom of Heaven is in you

There is no need to wait until you are dead to get to heaven – heaven is right inside you right now – you just need to be open enough to find it and enjoy it. Good luck – when you find it I can’t even begin to describe how awesome it is. Words can’t do it justice.

31. You are the only person in charge of your thoughts

No one can Make you feel a certain way – you are the only person who makes you feel anything. Your mind is powerful enough to change your thought process – we as humans in this society we live in just have lost practice in how to do this so we feel like someone else might have “made” us feel a specific way even thought that isn’t true at all.

30. Let generosity rule your world.

I have realized that I am much more generous than I ever realized and I feel this is something that I enjoy being. I love giving. I wish I could give more meaningfully but right now I see that financially and with my time I tend to give freely. I would like to create more and give what I create. I need to get on the ball with this and increase my joy of giving.

Your worst traits are the stones that you need to pick up and throw as far away as possible so that you can move forward. These traits weight you down and the sooner you toss them aside the farther along your life path you’ll get!

I am still trying to find out my worst traits and get ride of them altogether. I feel so refreshed when I do get them gone! Oh My I feel so good when I can pick them up and chuck them a mile away!

It is always the best policy to tell the truth as it will always finds its way into the world no matter how much you try to hid it.

27. Crisp mountain air

We went to a wedding up in the mountains this past weekend. It was so nice. The best thing about it was the temperatures were low, the fire was going in the lodge fire place and it was beautiful outside.

Being in the higher altitude in the clear fresh mountain air is wonderful.

26. The ocean

I find that the ocean is so rhythmic – I try to make a point of going to see it every chance I get.

I so enjoy the bounding waves on the shore. I love the ocean.

Don’t miss out on enjoying the ocean! It might grow on you.

25. Sometimes painting a room a crazy color is a good thing.

My girl friend painted her bedroom bright yellow, I thought she was crazy but man when I’m hanging out in her room now I am so calm and comfortable in there. Color is not to be feared.

20. Missed another one

What lessons have I learned today? I learned that I shouldn’t be so pessimistic. It doesn’t work well with others. If I lived alone and never really talked to anyone it might work but others don’t really like it.
