My goal was to make most of my time. This month has been my most social month in a while. And I started working again. Plus I became a little less lazy and started taking effort in doing things instead of being told. All-in-all it was a great month and a good bootcamp.

sierrak Happy to get back to work on my Goals!
July turned out to be a pretty busy month, but I’m pretty pleased with my Olympic results.
- I succeeded in meeting my goal of averaging 10,000 steps recorded per day. I think my total was a little over 346,000 steps taken in the month…over 120 miles of steps! Fitbit send me a little weekly summary, and in the last month of July I averaged 11,767 steps per day.
- I did better at weight lifting than the previous month, but did not consistently readh twice per week. I need to keep working on this!
Finally, I lost four pounds! Yay, I won a Silver Medal!
Congratulations to all my team-mates, we are all winners!

JWillow pretending she is still on holiday!
This Bootcamp has been great and I can honestly say I’ve made the efforts to stay on track although not always attaining medal status. I’m still happy with what I’ve achieved and am carrying over some of my Olympic goals into the now month.
Cheers to all Olympians – no matter the colour of the medal, you’ve won just by trying!

I was so so tired and mentally expended last night that I could not do more which would have earned me Silver and will have to settle for my Olympic Bronze medal. I think I set good goals this month for myself because it was challenging to try to keep on schedule to complete it. Yes my July ended with a whimper, but I was roaring for a few weeks so I am proud of myself. My July Bootcamp is over. As always, thank you everyone who supported me in my effort!

lob staying FOCUSed and happy...
disappointed with myself for weightloss. I was very diligent about working out at the gym and walking regularly. I watch what I eat, and yet I only lost 1 kg this month. I guess that counts as bronze for this goal, but I still feel disappointed.

Work: Gold medal
Chores/errands: gold medal
personal care/well-being: gold medal
exercise: bronze medal
physics: ....I’d have a “did not complete” next to my name. Sigh.
Inappropriate comments/responses: gold medal and new personal record =P

ugogrl thankful for the cheers =0)
I had 4 areas which I concentrated on
Here’s how I fared with my goals:
Fitness/Health: The gold. I stayed on track with exercise & eating healthy.
Spiritual: Earned another gold by practicing mindfulness & by keeping up with daily mediation
Relationships: The Silver. Could have been more on target with this category.
Career: The bronze for a lackluster effort. I plan on winning the gold in August.

I did some exercise this month, but probably not an olympic effort to improve my activity in this area… I will keep trying it anyway.

If I do 2hr 45min more time/space today I will earn a Silver medal and I would really like to achieve that. I did go to bed early (relatively) last night, so I’m hoping I will have the energy to complete the extra effort required. I am really glad I set this goal even through it has not given me exactly the results I had envisioned. It is still progress and needed to be done, so I will be continuing a similar strategy in the future.
With only 20 hours left to compete, my progress is:
100% complete for a Bronze Medal = 12 hours T/S
83% complete for a Silver Medal = 16 hours T/S
66% complete for a Gold Medal = 20 hours T/S
❤ Time/Space goal – Achieved 13.25 hours
❤ Recycled 4 boxes of obsolete papers.
❤ Missing Tiwa a lot this weekend while she was out of town for her niece’s wedding.
❤ Cleaned the compact fridge for Cory’s dorm. Found a replacement shelf at a used appliance store for $2.
❤ Organized ads for Cory’s school supply shopping.

joyjoei yoga & running & sleeping & repeat..
I started off my day with meditation after getting rid of the sleepiness, though I did it only 6-9 minutes. I will try to do it longer tomorrow. At 6 am, I left for a run and did it for an hour today. I tried a new route to get to the hill and lake. I ran 2 rounds around the hill and 1 around the lake. It felt so wonderful, as I hadn’t run since Friday. I’ve been missing it. Getting back home, I did yoga, 50 crunches, boat poses, side planks and 10 pushups. I didn’t have time to sit and write morning page today bc I’ve added up so many things in my morning.
My Olympic effort is forming new habits and strenthing the old ones. I’ve started a goal for meditating and getting back to doing crunches again. I am taking yoga more seriously and in love with, though I have to reduce my running time. I’ve adjusted the balance between yoga and running. My English writing is getting better due the morning page. A flow of thought has come out easier. I can’t wait to do the August Bootcamp!
