I joined www.sparkpeople.com last week. The site suggest how often to exercise, what exercises to do (but I follow my program at the Y, instead), how many calories to consume, etc. It also has a very handy nutrition tracker that allows you to enter your meals to track calories, fat, protein, carbs, etc. It’s been amazing and is really working for me.
I have been doing strength training and cardio three days per week, with just cardio 2-3 other days.
Off to a good start!!
I have decided to work out in the mornings on Tuesdays and Thursdays and then either on Saturday or Sunday on the weekends. Yesterday morning when I woke up, the LAST thing I wanted to do was go work out, but I did! I did my hour and a half workout at the Y and it really made me feel good. Now I just have to stick with it!!
...the heaviest and chubbiest I’ve ever been. I hate it. If I can lose 20 pounds, I will be much healthier and happier!! I know it’s unrealistic to expect weight loss while it’s still the holidays, so my goal is to go back to the gym January 3rd. 3 times a week – NO EXCUSES!!
Hopefully this, combined with drinking more water, will help me lose the 20 lbs.
