It’s taken a LONG time but I finally paid off another credit card. Go me! I now plan to apply that monthly payment to my next credit card in line, snowballing the payments to pay them off faster. Progress is slow but there will be an end to this debt-enslavement to the banks.

I have closed a credit card account and am now paying off the balance bit by bit. I have had another card blocked but not closed so that I can’t make any charges but I keep my promotional rate on it as I pay down the balance. I am investigating opening a very low interest card to transfer my high rate balance to in order to save some interest charges….

I sort of keep coming up short and just as I have lowered the balance on a card I find I have to whip it out and charge something on it again. This can’t be good. I feel like Sisyphus…..

I got my tax refund today and used part of it to pay off a credit card. It’s such a satisfying feeling to know I will have one less bill to pay every month. I plan to take the money I was spending every month on that card and apply add it to the payments I am making on another card as well until all my credit cards are paid off. I only have three more cards to go!

One of my credit cards is halfway paid off! WhoohoO! I might actually be able to pay it off in full next month! Only 3 more to go!
