I did the first section of the BBC German Steps, its very simple and gives a good introduction I think, I might do all of the different language steps for all the languages there- think theres Spanish, French, German and Italian.
Ain’t easy to learn alone! I haven’t touched my German books for a week now, sigh. However, I’ve started reading a friend’s German blog – though I “cheat” abit by using BabelFish. I think I’m improving my vocabulary though by reading it, so that’s a start! :)

Just went through around 64 words- was on this cdrom Global German and they had set vocabulary so I couldn’t limit it to 50. But it was very basic stuff so a lot of it I knew already or had some idea of. ITs funny to think I bought this cdrom for 1 kroner like several years ago. I’ve got tonnes of stuff to help me with German but not really anything for French.

Not sure how this team thing works but if we have to do assignements or something ( saw someone else who did this) or perhaps complete mini goals within this goal ( urgh mouthful) then a first step would be getting a pen pal- preferably via email. any body else got any ideas?
Well, I couldn’t get a class started ‘cos not enough people wanna learn it with me. So, right now, I’ve bought a starter kit on learning basic German. I’ll begin with this and see how far I can take it.
