I see the westbend poppers in used housewares sections of thrift stores all the time if that’s helpful (that’s where I got mine).

First I want to start with the home popper route. Westbend popperies get consistently recommended but I’m having some trouble finding one (winter is a bad time for garage sales in New England)
Might want to work a field trip to Terroir Coffee in Acton, MA into it, call it research.
