I got a job offer to work in operations for Neiman Marcus!! I am so excited. It’s a new mall and we are one of the main anchors along with Macys. This is the first Neimans in Austin so it will have an overwhelming response. I can’t wait to dive in and enjoy all the possibilities.

My car was hit in the parking lot of a KFC on Saturday by some stranger who just left the scene. It did some damage to my hood and grill on my baby :-( I took it to get an estimate for the damamges and they totaled $1900. I have insurance but my deductable is $999 plus I was going to have to pay for my rental car all week. Even though I could get the money I was pretty bummed about the situation. So I get to work and the insurance person called to inform me of my claim and what was going (FYI-Progressive Insurance has wonderful customer service) and she informed me that I could use my uninsured motorist coverage and all I would have to come out of pocket was $250 and my rental coverage!!! a big weight was lifted off my shoulders yesterday. I swear God answered my prayers, so on the way to pick up my son I have a homeless man the ;ast 10 dollars I had in my pocket because I felt I was spared to give to others. It felt good to pass on the blessing.

it’s still early but I am grateful that i had enough sleep and i managed to go out and exercise. ;] What a great day!
