let true love find me

is harder than I thought. I primarily use dating sites and even then I maybe find a man that interests me every 4-6 months or so. I do not go out much and therefore I do not meet people. I just expect “him” to bump into me at a grocery store and feel compelled to ask for my number. I also figure that maybe he will start attending my church and meet me that way. I pray every night for God to bring the right man in my life. I have been single since my divorce which was 3 yrs ago. My ex has been in 3 relationships since then. It’s not fair!

Well, for my part… I have had a rocky year in 2006. I ended an 18 year marriage in divorce. Started another relationship that ended. Started a second relationship that has endured for 6+ months. In recent months we both have realized that we get along very well… that we are fundamentally compatible on many levels. We started talking about committing in this relationship. So, this weekend we have agreed that after some pre-marital counseling we will get married this summer.

Is it love… yes… is it a relationship that works… yes… is something we both want… very much yes. Now, its just taking time to do our homework and make sure that we understand each other and that we start from an honest and open basis.
