Support Breast Cancer Research by sending in "Pink Lids" by Yoplait

Seeing as I live in New Zealand and there is no Pink Lids thing going on, I have no idea why I put it on my list.
Probably because I support breast cancer and i didn’t want to come off as an ass when I got sent the link :|

In the UK at least it is Breast Cancer Awareness Month this month. Many shops are selling t-shirts and underwear and badges and other things that are various shades of pink and donating a percentage to a breast cancer charity.

As well as trying to wear at least one pink item of clothing each day this month I have also put pink highlights in my hair. Whenever people ask about it I tell them why I did it.

I definitely will do whatever I can to get the word out and send more “Pink Lids”.

Now until December 31st, 2006, Yoplait has the Save Lids to Save Lives again! Let’s see if we can get that 1.5 million!

Last day for this spring/summer pink lid drive is July 15th. If you don’t get the lids in by then, save ‘em for the October drive. :)

I’m counting this a complete, because, well because I am.

I just packaged up 34 lids to put them in the mail. I am good about errands, so I will mark this as done even though I haven’t gone to the post office yet.

If I come across more pink-lidded Yoplait at the store, I will certainly buy and mail more, but the last time I was there I got the last few with pink lids, and then had to get ones with blue lids. So, I assume they are phasing out the pink, and I’m calling this done!

I just don’t like their yogurt.
