Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer
Book #27 ((5 stars))
Absolutely my favorite book EVER. I am in love with Christopher McCandless, I don’t care if he’s dead. I have never admired anyone so much as I admire this man. I would recommend this book to anyone who has a passion for nature and adventure.

A Bend in the Road by Nicholas Sparks
Book #26 ((5 stars))
Always a pleasure to take a break and read a quick romance. Very cute, love the twist at the end. (I knew it all along.)
A Painted House by John Grisham
Book #25 ((4 stars))
Was expecting a little more from this book, considering all the raving I had heard about it. Nevertheless, it was well worth its 465 pages, and I would recommend it specifically to people with time on their hands.
My apologies, I haven’t updated these in a really long time. These are the books I can remember reading…
A Separate Peace by John Knowles
Book #22 ((4 stars))
Read it for English… wasn’t bad for being a required book, it was just kind of weird. I don’t know how to describe it, so I guess you’ll just have to read it yourself.
Cut by Patricia McCormick
Book #23 ((5 stars))
Even though the girl in the book had some problems, she was a very lovable character. Quick read, very interesting.
Perfect by Natasha Friend
Book #24 ((5 stars))
Frightening how much I could relate to this book. Highly recommended.
A Million Little Pieces by James Frey
Book #21 ((5 stars))
Even better than Crank, the other book I read about a druggie. Though not all of it’s true, a good chunk of it is based on this author’s stuggle through rehab. Be warned… it’s very graphic.
Boy Detective Fails by Joe Meno
Book #18 ((5 stars))
...Just amazing.
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
Book #19 ((5 stars))
Second time reading this book. Much better the second time around, I feel like i have a great understanding and appreciation for it now.
Macbeth by William Shakespeare
Book #20 ((3 stars))
I think I would have liked it more if I understood what they were saying half the time. I recommend the No-Fear Shakespeare version.
Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare
Book #17 ((5 stars))
Most incredible play of all time. Definitely a classic, you MUST read this before you die.
Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
Book #16 ((3 stars))
Okay for a required-reading English book, but still didnt really satisfy. There were some highlights but it didnt keep me interested.
The Lord of the Flies by William Golding
Book #14 ((2 stars))
Very boring. Don’t waste your time.
Crank by Ellen Hopkins
Book #15 ((5 stars))
My new favorite book. It was very dark and depressing, but it puts you in the shoes of a drug addict which was quite frightening, yet exhilarating. HIGHLY recommended.
A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith
Book #11 ((4 stars))
Has an extremely boring start but outstanding book overall. I particularly liked the ending. Recommended.
Brian’s Song by William Blinn
Book #12 ((3 stars))
Something different; written in screenplay form which was kind of cool. It was extremely short, and terribly uninteresting.
Guitar Highway Rose
Book #13 ((5 stars))
Awesome book, but a fast read. I didn’t want it to end. Made me cry, but was a happy ending which is a great combination.
