I tried to twist my towel into a turban, but it wouldn’t stay up in my dry hair. I’ll have to remember to use a turban brooch, next year. That will add a nice, decorative element, as well.

- used my towel to dry my hands on several occasions;
- covered some toys with it for a therapy game with some students;
- ‘threw in the towel’ (okay, so I threw it against the wall) when I was on the phone to the local council and couldn’t get through to an operator;
- and finally, popped it into the washing machine for a well-earned wash.
I’m thrilled with my Towel Day experience, and will be back again for more next year! ;-D

Took my towel with me and went to visit a friend. We ate sushi and watched a tape of the season finale of House (SO GOOD!). Then we went out for ice cream, and my towel came in handy because my friend got cold. DA was right – towels are good for keeping warm!
When I came home I watched the HGTTG movie (can’t seem to locate my copy of the book) and felt lucky to have such a trusty towel hanging on my shoulder.
Definitely something to look forward to next year. Happy Towel Day, all!

well, i was really hoping that i would be able to lie outside on my towel and enjoy the nice weather we’ve been having lately, but now that it looks like it’s going to rain, i’m going to have to use my towel to take cover, instead. thank goodness for my trusty towel!
to be on Towel Day than in front of our very own Zaphod Beeblebrox!
For those of you who know hockey quite well, you’ll know that I’m taking quite the risk waving a Toronto Maple Leafs towel around in Ottawa :)
So I must live in the most boring city ever because today on my walk to work (walking down what is probably one of the busiest streets here) not one person noticed my towel. I was really hoping someone would say “Oh yeah, towel day!” but nothing! Boo! I’m going to go out on my lunch and walk around more!
