Ok, I’ve been slacking on this goal big time but 2007 is going to be a year of saving money! Therefore, starting today (even though I’m sure I’ve had a couple more spend free days this year) I’m going to keep track of spend free days on this site.
In order for my day to qualify as “spend free” I should buy NOTHING that day. This means:
- No drinks or snacks from vending machines
- No lunch or dinner out on the town
- No groceries, gasoline, etc.
Ok, today I stayed in so didn’t spend a dime. Hopefully I can do this again tomorrow and for most of my days at work this week.

Congrats to me! Today was a spend free day as I did not leave the house! However, tomorrow will make up for it as I have to go exchange my TV and get one with a DVD player that actually works!!!
Also, I’ll need to get a few odds and ends and I can’t wait to rummage through an old thrift store looking for books!
