A friend and I are working on a song together. A couple weeks ago, I sent him some lyrics and he came back with a melody. Slowly slowly.

Picked up the guitar again after God knows how long. Now I understand what people mean when they say they’re “rusty” at something. Trying to remember chords and progressions, I felt my brain cogs turning ever soooo slowly, like they were covered with rust. But practise makes better. Slowly slowly. :)

Not much progress, but some lyrics popped into my head this morning. Not too bad. Workable.

Heard some stuff in my head the other night that would sound good applied to a song I wrote ages ago. I’m quite excited to experiment with it, and can’t wait to dig up the lyrics and polish them up.

Wish I was musically literate so I could get it on paper for someone who can play.

Well, I’ve told a couple of people that I wanna do this, which is a start. Still haven’t decided how many tracks to put on it, but I know I wanna do this, so yup!
