celebrate Towel Day

Twice! I forgot to grab my towel, and then a few hours later realized I didn’t even know where it was! That’s really sad.

To make it up to myself, I’m rereading the whole Hitchhiker’s series, and after that I’m going to try to read some other stuff by Douglas Adams. I’ve always wanted to read Last Chance to See.

I wasn’t at work in the end, and I couldn’t carry one around all day, but I spent a lot more time than I usually do with towels. I made sure to pick up a couple in shops and stuff.

I’m counting it as done because I don’t want it on my list for the next 360-odd days. :)

Friday is going to be a busy day. I’ve set a reminder on my phone so I don’t forget this goal. I’ve also informed a couple of other people about the day, and the carrying around of a towel. I still imagine I’ll be the only person doing it. If I see anyone else then I will have to try extremely hard not to run right up to them and hug them. Or maybe I’ll just do it!

I don’t think I’m going to buy a special towel for the day. There’s not a weekend between now and the special day, so I’ll stick with my favourite towel at home. If I could get a H2G2 towel then it might be a different story.

I have to buy a towel soon so I have one to carry around. I’ll have to set a reminder on my phone too.

I need to accomplish a goal at some point soon. My others are long-term, and quite difficult goals.

What a great idea – to have a proper M&S towel just like Ford’s. I have family in Britain, I’ll have to get one of them to help me with this before May. :-)

and buy a towel for myself :P

I can even try to wrap some wire into it, if I feel like it :P

I could perhaps send some M&S towels to foreign countries, if requested ;) They’d look at me a bit weirdly at the post office, I’m sure, and towels are pretty heavy, but I’ve got a while yet. :)

It’s in my son’s room on the spare bed. I’m going to celebrate towel day everyday not just that designated dates on wiki.

I have towel hours every day – I’ve had this one I have probably had as long as towel day has existed So May 25th 2007 towel hours will be towel day!!

but I will do this next year for sure!
