I`m going to count this as done. I`m still not sure if the bank account was actually cancelled, must find out. And, I still have one magazine subscription for a magazine I never read, but I`ve paid for the whole year, so I might as well get the last ones before cancelling. Otherwise I`m pretty much subscription free, good feeling! ;)

Have cancelled another online subscription I should never have started in the first place (absolute waste of money).
And have just cancelled the CD part of my French magazine subscription, which is actually the more expensive bit. I haven’t been listening to them at all, haven’t even been reading the magazine, but that will change when I finally get The Book done. May even go back to classes. And when I’ve caught up on all the old ones I can always start subscribing again. May even get a new freebie. Good job, Zanna.
So what about the Guardian Weekly subscription? Must admit to finding more than one unopened edition during my tidying foray… And the stupid expensive bank account?

to cancel that internet subscription. I was thinking there is no way it could be that easy to get out of the subscription. But it seems that it was! I just got an e-mail saying that my subscription is cancelled. Yay!

I thought I had finally closed the bank accounts and visa I`m not using. No such luck. I got a letter back from them, saying they lacked some information to close my accounts. Argh. Now I have to figure out what they want (it was a bit unclear) and send another letter. And knowing my procrastinating personality, that could take a while.

I managed to get around to cancelling a bank account and visa-card I was no longer using. It took me about 10 minutes to find the adress, find an envelope, write a note to them and return the card by mail. And I`ve been putting that off for something like 4 years! I guess I never thought of the fact that keeping it was costing me money, but it was actually quite expensive!
(I know calling a bank account a subcription is a bit of a stretch, but it had the same effect on me, just something I kept paying for without enjoying anymore.;))
So, now I just have one internet subscription to consider cancelling. And one magazine, but I think I paid for a year, so I`ll cancell when the nect bill comes.
And then, I think I actually don`t have any more unnecessary subscriptions! yay!

I managed to get a confirmation, finally, that I`m now out of a very annoying bookclub. And, I`ve contacted another one to cancel.
Still have to go through some internet subscriptions and see if I need them. And, close a bank account I no longer use that is for some reason costing me a fortune. That`s not really a subscription ofcourse, but I`ll count it under this goal anyway. ;)

it’s always so bloody difficult to cancel these things?
OK, that was a rhetorical question.
I think I’ve cancelled one subscription, but I’m not quite sure. I couldn’t find anywhere on the website to do it, so wrote a mail. Suppose I’ll hear back tomorrow.

one online subscription I am wasting money on.
And I need to consider whether to keep getting Écoute magazine + CDs. Will I ever do any French again??
