We bought this little Jeremy Fisher stuffed toy on EBay a while back. For only 2 dollars he was too cute to resist! He’s perfect for a nursery.

Here’s another Jeremy Fisher music box we won. We hawked this one out at the last minute and got it for $20.50 and $6.30 shipping.

This music box is an absolutely adorable 1996 Frederick Warne ceramic music box of Jeremy Fisher in mint condition. The little fishing pole is made of bamboo and has real fishing line. The box turns when played and the tune is “Waltz of the Flowers”. Jeremy Fisher is sitting in the cross-legged position with one leg stretched out front and is looking into the water. He is sitting on a raised Lily pad with a white pond flower next to him. He has a fish on the line and the base of the music box is decorated with fish and pond reeds. This is really a stunning piece and a real collector’s item .

We bought via EBay auction this Jeremy Fisher music box for our nursery. He is in mint condition and plays the tune, “As Time Goes By”. He’s wonderful! I won him for $10.50 plus $5 dollars shipping. That is much less than he’s sold for on EBay in past auctions I’ve watched :-)

Mark just received this in the post today! We purchased it on EBay and it’s so adorable! Here is the description:

This is a very attractive item from the popular Beatrix Potter tales. Here is Jeremy Fisher, sitting on a lily pad, reading the ‘Angling Times’ whilst leaning against his picnic hamper. A very stylish chap, he is wearing a beautiful pink waistcoat under his jacket. This is a fairly large piece, measuring approximately 6.5” long x 4.75” tall (16.5×12 cms). Postage reflects the weight – quite a heavy piece. It is also a money box – the slot being in Jeremy’s back and having a rubber stopper underneath the base. Backstamped for Border Fine Arts and numbered 282855 with a copyright for Fredrick Warne & Co for 1995. In very good condition with no chips or cracks.

This will be wonderful for our nursery! I already have a Beatrix Potter hardcover collection books in the room that is to be a nursery. I also have 2 Jeremy Fisher stuffed animals… so cute! Now, I just need to find a good price on a Jeremy Fisher Music Box I’ve been eyeing! I love Mr. Jeremy Fisher!

This play tent is cute but very expensive. When I was a young girl I made my own play tents out of large blankets draped over furniture in our home. I think that’s what our kids will be doing as well if this is the going rate for play tents!

Still, when I look at these things I begin to wonder if it’s something I could pull off making on my own. I mean, things on this homemade site don’t look THAT hard to make. You would just need sewing skills and such. However, I’m probably mistaken. It’s probably very hard to make these handmade items, hence the expensive prices!
