I went in, a couple of weeks early this time, for my hair-care appointment at Rapunzel’s (conditioning, dusting, and trimming); I’ll go in a week from now for balancing and coloring, to complete my quarterly haircare regimen (the end of May 2008).
The split ends are all-but-gone again, and my hair is now 33 and 5/8ths inches long (a net gain of 1/4 of an inch over the past nine weeks, after both new growth and trimming) when measured free-flowing.
The deep conditioning treatment and the blunt cut make the hair look strong and healthy and the ends look good and thick. And it’ll look even better after my color renewal and balancing a week from now! grin

I went in for my quarterly hair-care appointments at Rapunzel’s (conditioning, trimming, and dusting at the first appointment, and then balancing and coloring a week later) in mid-March 2008.
Once again, the split ends are all-but-gone and the color of the “older” hair matches the “newer” hair from the scalp to the ends. We used my spring/summer color variant (it’s brighter than the fall/winter mix we use, which is nice but not so red).
March 2008: My hair is now 33 and 3/8ths inches long (a net gain of 3/4 of an inch over the past three months after both new growth and trimming) when measured free-flowing. The deep conditioning treatment and the blunt cut make the hair look strong and healthy and the ends look good and thick. smile

I went in for my quarterly hair-care appointments at Rapunzel’s (conditioning, trimming, and dusting the first day, and then balancing and coloring three days later) in mid-December 2007.
Once again, the split ends are all-but-gone and the color of the “older” hair matches the “newer” hair from the scalp to the ends. We used my autumn/winter red variant (it’s not so bright as the spring/summer mix but still very nice).
December 2007: My hair is still 32 and 5/8ths inches long (no net increase over three months, given new growth and trimming) when measured free-flowing. The deep conditioning treatment and the blunt cut make the hair look strong and healthy and the ends look good and thick. smile

I went in for my quarterly hair-care appointment at Rapunzel’s (trimming and “dusting,” coloring and “balancing”) on September 14th. Once again, the split ends are all-but-gone, and the color of the longer hair matches the “grown-in” hair at the scalp. I had it done in my autumn variant of red (not so bright as the spring mix, but still very nice). smile
September 2007: My hair is now 32 and 5/8ths inches long (up 1/8 of an inch over three months, after new growth and trimming) when measured free-flowing; the blunt cut makes the ends look thick and healthy. smile

I went in for my quarterly hair-care appointment at Rapunzel’s (trimming & “dusting,” coloring and “balancing”). Now the split ends are all-but-gone, and the color of the longer hair matches the shorter, newer hair at the scalp. And it’s all very red! smile
June 2007: My hair is now 32.5 inches long when measured free-flowing (it wasn’t braided, so I don’t have a measurement for that this time). I had 1.5 inches of new growth during the past three months, but had to have 2 inches trimmed in order for the ends to look healthy (blunt cut): it does look much thicker, now! smile

When I went in for my quarterly hair-care appointment at Rapunzel’s, I had a trimming and a “dusting,” with a coloring and a “balancing,” in order to take care of any split ends and even out the color of the longer portion (so that it matches the shorter, newer hair at the scalp).
March 2007: My hair is still 33 inches long when measured free-flowing (it wasn’t braided, so I don’t have a measurement for that this time). While I didn’t gain any new growth (post-trimming) from the cold dark days of winter, I’m happy to have it looking and feeling so healthy at the length that it is. smile

About ten days ago, I went in for my quarterly hair-care appointment at Rapunzel’s. I had a “dusting,” a coloring, and a “balancing” (to even out the color of the longer/older portion so that it matches the growing-in/newer hair on top).
December 2006: My hair is now 30 inches long when measured braided, and 33 inches long when measured free-flowing. I’m very happy to have had an inch of healthy growth during the last three months! smile

Yesterday I went in for a “Dusting” (not a cut per se but the George Michael Long Hair Salon-style method of hair maintenance) as well as a “Balancing” (to even out the color) since I had had some damage, from travelling and UV exposure, as well as some healthy new growth, over the summer.
September 2006: My hair is now 29 inches long when measured braided, and 32 inches long when measured free-flowing, according to Dave at Rapunzel’s. smile
