Pick a theme song for myself

Theme songs are great! I change frequently :)

My theme song this week is Don’t Cha! Yes, that annoying Pussycat Dolls song. So, don’t cha!!! Uh huh. I’m not hot, a freak or raw, but what ever.

Caught a bit on the teev. Scissor Sisters were good and I now have ‘Take your Mama’ belting it out in my frontal lobes. It’s not a bad theme for the day as it certainly rocks.

I need a new theme song today. I don’t know what the hell it would be…I feel a funk coming on.

I wonder if I can influence the kind of day I have by purposely choosing my back-of-the-head song for the day. Maybe if I pick something aggresively confident I will be able to start my yicky system update tomorrow.

Today was ‘Oh! What a wonderful morning’

Not sure why but I started singing it at work. My office mates were a little bemused as they couldn’t see anything wonderful about Monday morning. Thinking about it – I have to agree with them.

Today’s would have to be ‘Summer in the City’. It is hot and dry at the moment. Apart from that I have had Barry Manilow perched somewhere in my head singing Copacabana all day. It can be rather offputting when I’m trying to talk application access problems on the phone.

Me: So the problem is?

User: Well I’m trying to log -

Barry: – At the Copa, Copacbana
They fell in luuuuuuuuurve -

User: – and that error message is coming up.

Me: Er – right.

I’m amending this slightly. I am multi- faceted and thus need several theme songs. So I’m picking a core theme song, which is Grey Street by Dave Matthews Band, and rotating songs for one to two week intervals. The song of the week is Not a Pretty Girl by Ani DiFranco. Thanks all. :)

I must think more on this…cause what’s with the girl trend?
