identify 100 things that make me happy.

42) Doing what I say I am going to do makes me super happy. Stopping smoking has been #1 for me the past couple weeks and my stop date was yesterday. I LOVE being able to say “YES, I followed through with my plan”. This makes me very happy…and proud!

41) Second chances make me happy. I am just getting back from a visit to my sisters home in Virginia, the first time in 5 years. We had a lovely time and I am still trying to convince myself that it can be just that…we’ve worked on things for years and each time I feel this good something happens and the trust is broken all over again, but this time, I’m so greatful for the second chance (40th probably) and happy that we at the very least have THIS time.

40) Led Zepplin IV makes me happy…I recently revisited Zep and have been so happy listening, I had to add it to the list. What a rush driving listening to that album…

39) Being able to check off items on my “to-do” list. Today I woke up with a list of things to accomplish TODAY in order to enjoy my bridal weekend…I started round 8:30 and have completed 85% of my needs. Decided to take a quick break then finish up the last little bit. It feels so good to have made the time to take care of these things. Not only is my financial outlook on the upswing, but the little nitty gritty crap that usually creeps into my sleep self will NOT! YAY! Always glad to head back to 43things to get things into perspective!

38) Getting shit done makes me happy! Yesterday, I cleaned out my car, getting it ready for sale…AND cleared out an entire patch of the backyard weeding and tilling, getting that ready for prospective on-lookers. Today, I feel shot but so great about getting my ass outside and contributing to the relationship. Good stuff!

36) My new living arrangements make me happy. I had decided many years ago that I would not live with anyone until that someone was my partner…and yesterday I took the step, moving in with my fiance. It feels wonderful to have stuck to my guns..it feels even better to know my guns were for the best! (if that makes sense) The move has actually been very exciting…learning all about my mate and even more about myself, I’m just eating it up! Love is truly grand. Cheers to me!

1. 35- Loving Andrew makes me happy. It’s been so crazy with the engagement, end of my contract with my district, pending move and wedding…but I feel so incredibly wonderful and blessed. I love this man like I really never thought possible. It’s such an exciting time in my life and it feels great to share!

34) Giving to others makes me happy. I spent Christmas day serving a shelter of homeless men which was amazing and today my program raised overr 600 bucks for a co-worker who recently lost her husband. It feels so good to give back. Certainly makes me happy!

33) Realizing that my past habit of waiting around till things “work themselves out” with men has gone from an 8 year cycle a decade ago to a 1 MONTH cycle at present! PROGRESS is what makes me happy today…

32) Nicole, my best friend, makes me happy. I don’t know what the hell I will do without her.
