I can see my clothes. It’s not quite the reduction I’d stated in my list, but pretty close to.
AO and I redid both our closets. I have the “after” picture and I don’t have a before pic, but suffice it to say, 4 bags of clothes came out of this closet. They are in the clothing drive bin as I write this.
We do have two more loads of laundry to fold and put away, but this is significantly reduced from what it was!

Sorted all my clean clothes. I gave away, or threw away about 15% of my existing clothes. I’m not 100% done, I’m sure I’ve still got stuff I don’t wear, won’t wear, or shouldn’t wear. Not sure I gave it to a great charity, but it’s out of my closet, which works for me. You can see in the closet, that there’s pleanty of room on the shelves.

So… either later tonight, or tomorrow I’ll be assembling them, and sorting my clothes. I’m not sure yet what will be going, I’m sorta attached to stuff, even though alot of it is ill fitting / out of style, or really old.

I have been thinking about how many clothes I have and decided I should pare it back to a reasonable number. One of the hard things is I live where there are seasonal weather patterns, and I also do a lot of active stuff so I have to keep that as somewhat specialized clothing…
Here’s what I am thinking:
Day to day:
2 prs jeans
3 prs dressier pants
10 short sleeve t shirts
4 long sleeve t shirts
4 long sleeve blouses
4 short sleeve blouses
4 sweaters
2 sweatshirts
3 short sleeve turtlenecks/polos
3 long sleeve turtlenecks/polos
5 pr white socks
5 pr black socks
more for active stuff:
2 pr shorts
2 prs zipoffs
4 fleece shirts < I have a lot of this so this is a big step!!
4 short sleeve active t’s (techwik etc)
5 long sleeve techwick/poly pro shirts
4 polypro etc pants
5 pr wool/warm socks
5 pr athletic socks
What do you think? just in doing this list I realize I have way more than this. Is this enough clothing so I have some selection, or is it too much still?

I’m starting by making some piles of clothes to give and clothes to throw away. I’m going to finish this this weekend, when I buy a shelf to put in my closet to organize my clothes. This will ve done this weekend, come hell or high water.

I’m really looking forward to getting rid of a lot of my plus sized stuff. However, I first want to get back down a few more sizes, I’m at 34, I’d like to be 32 at max. I think that will be another 15-20lbs. I’m about 175 now, so around 160 should be the sweet spot. It’s been many, many years since I’ve been that light… Hopefully I can see it again, and get on with the rebuilding of my wardrobe w/ style.

The clothes i was holding onto thinking I’d fit into again, I actually fit into again, and there are a bunch of things I’ll be getting rid of. Somethings just look huge on me now, they’ve got to go.

my weight loss program. When i’m done I’m sure I’ll have quite a few clothings to ditch. No sence in holding onto clothes that don’t fit, aren’t getting worn.

I need some style, and I’ve got a ton of old clothes. I’ve also been working out pretty damn hard, and hope t o be able to fit into some of the clothes I’ve since ‘retired’, and be able to pass on my ‘fat’ clothes.
