seek truth

Truth is not contingent upon one’s belief in it, altered by the words one chooses to describe it, or wounded if neglected. It is simply truth.

be open minded… to analyse the facts that come your way with wisdom. put yourself in the shoes of both side and reflect what make sense and not. don’t be afraid to ask questions… to see other’s point of view even if you cringed at the thought of having to challenge your own believes. Get to know the both opposing sides well and you are on your way to seek truth.

I find this saying by Jesus to be really a bold statement, and part of anyone’s quest to find THE TRUTH.

Jesus said to Thomas:

“Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?”

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me…”

This is quite a statement, life and truth are In Him.

It’s easy to seek the truth we want to find; but it ever so much more rewarding to seek genuine Truth. By setting aside our preconceived notions, beliefs, and opinions, and opening our minds to infinite possibilities, we can be blessed to discover and recognize greater truth, finite truth that will stand up to any test, truth that permeates as a binding thread through all beliefs, all religions, all cultures. This is the truth I seek.
