Last year was wonderful in a totally scrumptious Cheshire Cat way!
Everyone, grab a cup of tea from Cheshire Cat before the Mad Hatter gets ahold of them! Although I might say, Cheshire Cat looks a bit…mad himself. Ah well, drink the tea and let’s get mad together!

I have had a fresh redtail, biscuits, teacups upon teacups of tea, funny hat and let’s not forget the dancing and swinging around.
Also, the conversations with all sorts of mad people!
I had a wonderful time and thanks Abbey for the invite. Alas, I have to bid you all adieu, for the biscuits and tea have made me drowsy!
I need to head home and crawl under my silk blanket…

When I was young, my grandmother and I would have tea parties. She had this tea pot and cup set from Japan that we would use. We’d make lady fingers to go along with our tea. I can still picture the metal containers of flavored teas that we would choose from, and how the strainer wouldn’t always catch all the tea leaves so I’d always have a few in my cup.
Eventually I grew too old for tea parties, but my cousins took my place with grandma.
This past year for Christmas, Grandma gave me and three of my cousins each one of the tea cups. The tea pot was broken years ago. It was a perfect gift because that cup will always remind me of her and the time we spent together.
