He’ll still help out but he can’t commit so we have to find someone else. Man this sucks, so early in, before we have any momentum. We’ll have to find someone!

We went over a bunch of songs, and have 3 for homework for next Sunday. Sunday’s rehearsal day. Things appear to be going well so far.

Last night four of us got together as I had had an idea of a band project to work on, and we are starting in two weeks. Well, for the next two weeks I’m going through song lists and distributing them and we’re going to figure out which ones we can arrange for the project. We figure doing original arrangements of non-original songs will take about 3 – 4 months to get good enough to play live. So we’re aiming for a March performance. We could always play two songs here and there on open mike nights if the stage is fully equipped, just to get show-oriented.

that I’ve loved country music for a few years now, and the very year I say “get off my ass” it already is all the rage. Even the Dandy Warhols have country stuff now.

And yet I’m not skilled, and I’m not in a band!

Well, maybe someone out there needs me right now.
