OK, I started this goal at 165. I went down to 160 and now I’m at 155.
When you cut 2/3 of the calories of your diet out, it does make a difference. (Beer… I’m a recovering alcoholic, so those 2/3 were way above and beyond healthy calorie consumption.)
I am waiting until the New Year to see how much more weight I lose and stabilize, and from there I will see what I need to do to get down to 135, which is a weight that’s healthy and comfortable for me.
I lost 5 pounds in as many weeks since I’ve quit drinking. Since I’ve been doing NOTHING to make this happen except staying sober, I’m very happy.
I’m hoping to buy a bike within two weeks so that I can start riding to and from school. I think if I get a bike that I like, I will ride it frequently which can’t but be a good thing.
