I have to by next year. The plan is set and by hook or crook or other convoluted item, I’ll be out by the end of ‘08.

...move to the bottom of my list, or thereabouts as I am doing really nothing to attribute to progression in this goal. However, there are several factors impeding the successful completion of this goal:
A) Finances
B) Relevant employment
C) LocationSo, with the above being very important, I don’t know when this will be completed. But even though it’s moving towards the end of my list, it’s one of my most important goals.
...but I am tired of New York City. I love this place with all my heart, but I think I need to cut the umbilical cord. It is too easy to get stuck in a routine over here, even if it is a fun one. The job market sucks a$$, it’s competitive as hell to get into grad school, because you’re competing not only with locals like yourself, but all the other starry-eyed wishful thinkers who want to “make it big” here. I am lucky to have been raised in the NYC and have a permanent home here, but I need to branch out. I visited some of the US earlier this year and it seems that there are plenty of new places that I can go and be myself.
Although, I think the only way to refresh myself from this place is to leave the country once and for all. It’s just so daunting. I guess that’s why one of my goals is also to find some courage.
But I need to get out, it’s getting claustrophobic.
