Lucky penny. I don’t really look for it in the parking lot, probably because what’s the big deal about a penny? Probably that’s why I am still in red all the time? It must be fun to discover the magic, mystic power of a penny. I mean, if a penny is so insignificant, why would the government bother to make a penny? 10 pennies make a dime, and 10 dimes make a dollar, and so on so forth. I still don’t think that I will look for a lucky penny. But I will definitely give a penny much more respect.

Still here. Still doing this. Thought i would check in and let you all know that I’ve been doing this non-stop since July of 2006.
Every
single
day
Haven’t posted in a while as the voyeuristic pleasures of social networking are starting to fade a little bit. I’m happy to report that I am still finding a way to come across a coin every single day. With the exception of 3 days in Cuba where nothing was to be found each and every day begins (or ends) with the random discovery of a few small indications that the world is filled with plenty if you only open your eyes and look for it.
Easy finds on the street this morning. Let dog wander around a bit more than usual and somehow she seems to pull me in a direction that puts me right over a penny. She did that twice in the morning.
Missed the gym this morning so my wife strongly suggested I take a walk at lunch to keep active and get some exercise in for the day. Picked up four pennies and two bottles.
There are always things right under your nose that you never consider. On my east corner is a house I walk by every day. Dog pulled me in about three feet closer tot he house than I normally go onto my neighbors parking lot. Sure enough, three pennies that had been there for quite some time.
Two pennies today during the course of my wanderings around Chinatown.
Good Friday today. A nice day off and time to get caught up on some things at the house that have been slipping. Started the morning with a 10 cent beer can and at lunch I came across a quarter someone dropped in a phone booth. Finished the day off with three more pennies when I went over to pickup our Friday night pizza.
Two pennies and a dime today. Almost caught up on my logs after getting almost a month behind.
Another easy start at the gym. A penny waiting for me at the front desk and a nickel on the ledge where I usually stretch and cool down.
Two pennies this morning out on my rounds with dog. Picked up a third around lunch time.
