If I flex hard right when I wake up in the morning and squint, I can see a 4-pack coming out. It’s a start. My change in diet seems to be doing the trick.
I’ve improved my diet (see my “eat less junk food” goal) and it’s helping. I can see my ribs when I stand up properly! In the morning when I wake up, I have a 2 pack. It’s a good start (though it took me a while).
I guess I knew this exercise existed, but I forgot. You draw in your belly button as close as you can towards your spine and hold for 10 seconds. I’m stuck at the office a lot and my exercise time is limited, but this I can do even now as I type.
I’m making no progress on the 6-pack, but that’s okay. It’s a superficial goal really—I’m mostly working out to stay in shape as a volunteer firefighter, so the strength gains I’m making makes me happy.
The more I get in shape, the more my stomach seems to protrude! I think I’m losing fat everywhere but my stomach. I have something starting to go on in the upper abs, but below my belly button is a unremovable pouch.
