TIP: Try keepin a bag of apples in the fridge. Get one of those apple slicer/corers. For breakfast, even on the go, I can grab an apple, slice and core it in seconds and grab a slice of string cheese. The protein helps the sugar from the apple stick around for good energy and its healthy and i can eat it in the car.
Question: Does drinking 100% juice count as a fruit serving? I got those little bottles of apple juice, pure juice, I can throw it in my lunchbox and drink it with lunch. I think I’m getting a serving of fruit like this…Am I?

While I’m not eating it everyday, I have been doing so much better at this. I’ve been eating grapes, and drinking pure juice. I’ve been trying to eat healthy and get my body back to where I need it to be. I have noticed a difference in my skin and my overall health since I’ve been doing this. My “boss” (friend) got me hooked on Diet Sprite mixed with juice. It’s great. While not entirely healthy, it’s a caffiene free substitute to all the coffee and Dr. Pepper I normally drink. Especially since I’m supposed to be cut off from all caffiene. Grabbing cut fruit from the market as an afternoon snack, part of lunch or for breakfast has really provided an easy way to mix this into my daily diet. While expensive, I know if I bought the fruit whole to cut at home, I’d never do it and I know it’d go bad before I got off my butt to cut it up. :-)
