43T Book club, feel free to join.

we could have gotten this off the ground. I enjoyed the books we read, but it never seemed to go anywhere. When someone comes up with a better idea, please let me know.

ok, but there must be a better way to organise it. I’ve read two books, but I would have liked more discussion and more people to discuss with. I might think a bit more on this. Meanwhile I’m marking it as done.

I willpost an entry on All consuming, but I don’t want to spoil the ending for people who haven’t finished it yet. Maybe you can all let me know when you’re ready?

A few of us have decided to read Alentajo Blue by Monica Ali this month. Would anyone care to join us?

Has anyone started reading The Inheritance of Loss yet? I wasn’t able to purchase it here in Taiwan. I’m going to try and order it instead. Alentejo Blue is a go. I bought it and I’m quite excited to start it.

Stacey would like The Inheritance of Loss. Rose would like Alentejo Blue. GlobetrotterI would like to buy books for more than one month because the bookstore is a long distance from where she lives. Why don’t we go for both books to cover the next couple of months or whatever? Then someone can suggest some books for after that. How does that sound?

on the 43T book club because I’ve had more luck discussing books on All Consuming. I think we are too busy chatting about everyday stuff here on 43T to chat about books we are reading too.
