Daily: Give myself a treat

...for those 43Ters who have been asking me about my recent toffee binge.

Here’s the sampler I recently received as a gift from my girlfriend.

I had my first pedicure today. It was nice, I’m glad I did it, although it’s not something I could justify doing on a regular basis, but only as a treat every now and then.

I enjoyed several treats yesterday…some delicious potato pancakes, a nice dark German beer, and a so-so chocolate cupcake. What is it about carbs that make me smile?

I made myself a couple of eggs, sunny side up and 4 slices of toast and a nice big slice of pepper cheese. And a big cup of Lemon Grass and ginger tea with milk and sugar. I had the best breakfast I’ve had in a while.

I bought myself some more beads during my lunch break so I can make my aunty a necklace for her birthday.

I went dress shopping with a friend of mine and she helped me find a great dress for me and a pair of shoes to match! Afterwards we had dinner and a good old chat. It was a nice girly evening.

I sampled Max Brenner’s Chocolate Mess with some friends. It was tasty and fun, but not exceptional.

I found a fantastic bag in a charity shop yesterday and I went back in today to buy it if it was still there, and it was! Meant to be I reckon :-)

Although it is only a 10 minute walk from work to home, I walked slowly home to make the most of the sunshine. (It was raining only hours earlier!)
