Not sure if I’ll be finishing this goal this year. It turns out I’m a pretty slow reader. My husband is incredibly fast but I refuse to convert because while he has fantastic comprehension he doesn’t read each word and I think its the author’s choice of words, be they, articles, adjectives, or configuration, its the words and not necessarily the story that helps the reader identify the style of the author. One more example of our different approaches to most things. He does have a fantastic taste in books though. I’m just very happy he reads.
