I’ve been late every day this week. I do have a meeting tomorrow morning that I HAVE to be on time for.
It’s so confusing…the cat wakes me at like 3:30-4:00 every morning and I feel more awake then than I do when the alarm goes off.
I really need to just do it, and I know that.

Today I’m going to be a few minutes late. :-(
Still better than an hour or more. I will continue working on being ready to leave the house by 7:35.

but it is soooo hard to get out of bed when there’s snow and cold outside and you’re all warm and toasty under those covers! Right now I’m hoping they will send us home early. I doubt it since the heavy stuff isn’t supposed to hit until this evening.

BUT I was there on time for my first meeting…so I wasn’t late for that! In my defense, I was also there until 2am come home went to bed around 3:30 and then got up at 8:00.
It’s a weak defense. On time is on time. I’ve got to set the example or eveyone is going to want to work crazy-ass hours!

WoooHooo! I was actually a little bit early and had a few minutes to get it together! It was a great way to start the day. I felt on top of it and together and ready to go….now for tomorrow!

what time I get up. I’m always “late” to work. I don’t have a real set schedule, but I would like to be able to leave by 4:30 5 everyday which would put to work at 8-8:30. I’m getting in at 9-10 and staying until 5-6 and then working 10 hours on Fridays to get my 40 hour week in. I hate it. I hate the example I’m setting for my direct reports. I don’t like the stress it adds to my day. I just don’t know what to do. I “lose” time. I’m getting ready and it’s 7:30 and then all of a sudden it’s 8:15 and I have absolutely no idea what happened!
I guess I need to focus on how I’m spending my time in the morning. I do the same thing at work, though…any ideas?
