travel the world

This goal won’t be achieved for a very long time. So I’m putting it in the “I give Up” pile. But I won’t stop dreaming!

(had this under another goal, visit PEI in the fall -now deleted, but wanted to keep the entry). I have been to the island in the spring and summer, and will try winter someday, but I would really like to make plans to visit in the fall. I am so in love with Prince Edward Island. I had my fourth trip there in August, the first trip with children – and it was wonderful. I’d really love to visit the rest of Canada, and the rest of the world, but my heart keeps taking me back to PEI.

...I would love to go to & walk the “Cinque Terre” in Italy. This would be an ideal first trip abroad, I believe. Saw “Valerie Pringle has left the building” (a Canadian travel show) episode dedicated to this region – and I think it covers pretty much everything I’m looking for…dream, dream, dream…..

I think I’d like to start somewhere warm. My husband has never suffered from a great will to travel, but recently he said he’d like to find himself sitting on one of those perfect beaches somewhere. Like in the Corona ads – heck, it’s probably be a Corona. It seems most of the other beer we drink is from Canada or the UK…
