... for an afternoon out in the sun with my wonderful colleagues.
... that I got some soldering done today. It means a plan is coming together.
... that there was time for a nap.
... that there was time go get to the office before the meeting to print out the things I forgot because I was in a hurry to get home for a nap.

... for the energy I had today despite the disorganized sleep.
... for the electronic components that are waiting for me on the bench for assembly tomorrow.
... that the headache stayed under control.
... that I showed some creativity in fitting everything into today. I stopped by a supermarket on my way to the electronics shop, instead of making a separate trip for it as I first thought I would.

I am grateful it is Saturday and I have nothing I “hafta” do until I leave for the show tonight.
I am grateful I woke up before anyone else and got some creative work done, nice and early.
I am grateful the audience enjoyed the show last night. (So much clapping!)
I am grateful I am resilient.
I am grateful for conversations with Samuel.

It is Friday, and I am grateful …
... that I got all the papers marked before the weekend started.
... for the quiet satisfaction in having an instrument working again, and knowing exactly what the problem was.
... for the prospect of making some more modifications to the instrument before the next round of chromatography.
... for another good write-in, where I met new people.
... that I didn’t cancel the write-in because of work commitments, but carried on with it, just limiting the time I would put in on it.
