Des is slowly regaining her sanity (unfortunately?)
...that the main subscription page is improving. I’m glad to hear it. Unfortunately, that’s not the one I use the most. I use each individual’s page more often. On those pages, people’s recent activity isn’t showing up until many hours after the fact, and the activity is limited to the most recent week or thereabouts. This is greatly interefering with the social aspect of this site for me. I want to check up on people and find out how they’re doing today, so I can give encouragement and support, etc. It just doesn’t have the same effect if I have to wait until tomorrow to find out how they were doing yesterday. And from what I understand, much of the recent activity isn’t showing up on the main subscriptions page either, which many people maybe don’t realize, which means they’ll miss out on many people’s activity altogether, unless they go several pages back to see what they missed, thinking it was all real-time.
I’m just very concerned. If the Robots would address this publicly and let us know exactly what they’re working on and exactly what changes might take place, I might not be so frustrated. I understand that these things take time and effort, and I appreciate that they’re working on it, but I have this nagging feeling that some of these changes might be permanent and it’s very upsetting to me.
who’s name is mentioned with such awe? Her cookies must be the best in the world and I’m counting on her powers of persuasion being just as good as her recipes.
Dearest, new friend Flirt, I am eternally grateful for your baking intervention as I’m sure it will convince the Robots to fix the new subscription page. It was working fine for awhile and now, I have a maximum log in session of around 10 minutes before being booted out of 43things. I miss my friends. I miss my cheers. And most of all, I miss cookies.
