Start Weight: 240 lbs

For the past three days, I have been eating really well and exercising. So I am going to think of today as the third day of this goal, and continue on from here.
Also I finally went out today and bought a new pair of running shoes! They are sooo comfortable and supportive, definitely worth the extra money that they cost. My jogging goal is starting June 1st for sure this time now that I have a pedometer, and a good sports bra and running shoes!
I feel I did soo good today! :D
I completed a 45 min weight-lifting DVD, and then I went for a 6 mile hike!!! I was wearing a pedometer during the hike, and it says that (at my weight of 234 lbs) I burned 904 calories. I feel really calm, and happy about this goal right now … the fear that I cant do this is slowly starting to fade away :D

I am feeling totally motivated right now! I know I can do this, and I am not going to give up until I reach my goal. I’ve been super busy lately at work, so I havent been able to keep up that well with posting on here. I also went off track there for a couple days, binging on a bunch of crap. However, the healthy eating went well today, and I went for a nice walk. Ill post my weight tomorrow…I am not expecting any loss, but Im staying postive!

My goal for May might be set a little bit too high, but I will see how it goes.
I am going to continue to keep up with my food journal because it seems to be helping me. There is a long weekend (which starts today) in Canada, so I must stay strong and keep away from the beer and crap food lol
Anyway, I need to get off the computer because I have a lot of stuff I need to get done today, including exercising and going to the athletics store.

Got a Promotion at Work! :D 6 months ago

I just got promoted to supervisor at my work (got a $1.50 raise!), so I’ve been busy with the training schedule lately.
Soo I havent actually had the time to start my jogging goal, but I think its best that I wait anyways.
I want to get a proper pair of running shoes and a good sports bra before I really get into it.
I am going to go to an athelic store tomorrow though!!
I have been going on brisk walks these last few days, and I just bought a new workout video that is for weight-lifting with free weights, so I am excited to try that out tomorrow.
My eating has improved significantly since I began a food journal a couple days ago. I am also getting better at organizing my meals ahead of time, which is a huge thing for me! lol
Anyway, I’ve put on 1.5 lbs since my last post, which is no biggie in my opinion because I havent been that focused on this…but I will get right back on track so that it doesnt happen again at my next weigh-in.
I am gonna weigh in every friday and tuesday…so Tomorrow is weigh-in day!

Jogging Goal Starts Tomorrow!! :D 6 months ago

I woke up feeling a little bit better today, so I am hoping that this stomach flu thingy will pass very soon. Also, for those of you who have been reading my entries, I will be starting my walking/jogging goal tomorrow (May 1st)! I am really excited for it because I have never made a specific goal involving exercise, so it should be fun :D Once I get some extra cash I am going to go buy a new pair of running shoes. I will use my old ones until then, but they are starting to fall apart, so a new pair is definitely needed soon.
Anyway, I did weigh myself this morning (and I did lose weight), but like I said, I am not taking the number too seriously because I have been sick for the last few days.

Start Weight: 240 lbs
Current Weight: 232 lbs
lbs lost: 8 lbs
Goal for the end of May: 225 lbs

I am going to go on a walk at 8:30 pm when I am off work! Have a good day everyone.



Feeling like crap right now... 6 months ago

I’ve been sick with a stomach flu for the last 3 days unfortunately. I am starting to get a little concerned that it could be something that might need prescription medication, so if I don’t feel better by thursday I am going to go to the doctors.
I havent been eating much of anything (food is making me feel really sick!), which isnt good at all. However, I have been going on low intensity walks, which counts for something.
Anyway, I am going to weigh in tomorrow and see how the flu is effecting the scale. I am not going to take what is says too seriously though.



After a lot of thought... 6 months ago

I have come to the conclusion that in order for me to achieve this goal I need to set up a routine! I am one of those people that thrive off of organization and having a routine, so I need to start planning my days ahead of time the best that I can.
Anyway, I am off to eat breakfast and then go for a looonnngg walk, its beautiful outside today!

Disappointed, but staying Positive! :D 6 months ago

Sooo I havent posted in exactly a month now, and unfortunately my update is not that good!
I have been extremely stressed out this last month, with university and assignments, and problems with relationships. I just feel really depressed lately, and as a result I have been eating horribly and not really exercising. I am staying positive and getting back on track as soon as I come up with a plan.

Current Weight: 227 lbs
lbs lost: 13 lbs
Goal for end of March: 225 lbs… 2 lbs to go in 9 days

When I was in the bathroom this morning blowdrying my hair, my mom was looking at me, and she said “Wow Eva you are looking really great! You look like you have lost way more than 13 lbs!” I know that she was being sincere, and not patronizing me…so I am quite happy right now :D

I went over to my Grandmas tonight for Easter dinner, it was quite delicious and actually healthy (except for maybe the gravy and stuffing…but oh well hehe).

She gave me a chocolate bunny though, which I ate half of tonight lol. But you know what!? It actually didnt taste that great, instead of being deliciously sweet, it made me feel nauseous and sick! Sooo I gave the rest of it to my dad haha.

I am soooo busy with final assignments and exams right now, I feel like ripping my hair out lol But I will make it through, and then come April 16th (my very last exam), I can 100% concentrate on this goal ! :D I am sooooo excited for the snow to melt, so I can begin my jogging goal. I am hoping to begin no later then May 1st. Anyways, I really need to get to bed…I have a loooooonnnggg day of writing essays tomorrow, and I want to be able to get up early enough to go to the gym.

New Goal! :D 8 months ago

Okay sooo I have been a little off-track lately.
I am concerned it is going to get even worse soon because I have all of these uni assignments due, and finals are just around the corner.
I am done my 2nd year of uni April 16th, only 3 more years to go haha! :D
I am going to try really hard to get back into this tomorrow.
Anyways, getting to the point of this entry lol….
I have decided that I really want to get into a walking/joggin routine starting in May (when all the snow will be gone :D)
My goal is to progressively get better with jogging until I can jog for at least 20 mins straight by the end of August.
My mom really liked this goal, and she went out and bought me this fancy pedometer to track my steps, distance, and calories burned…she is such a sweetheart! I am quite excited for this.
Anyway, tomorrow I will be making an effort to eat right and exercise!
