run a 10k this fall

I was reviewing my list this morning and wondered why I don’t take this overdue “run a 10k” off my list. I’ve run a half marathon, a 5k and plenty of normal daily running. But never a 10k race. It’s not for the race aspect, but more because I think that 10k is going to feel like the right distance to run. When I run on my own I’m happiest in the 5-7 mile range.

Does anyone know when the next 10k is in the Seattle area? I’ve completely fallen off my running routine in the wettest Seattle month in history (not to mention snow and ice).

Anybody know when/where are the next Seattle 10Ks?

I’m clocking in at just under 9 minutes miles. Today I ran 5 miles and hopefully we’ll hit 8 or 10 next weekend. I’m looking forward to a 10K.
