drink more water

Since I moved from Hawaii to El Paso, the desert heat and elevation (from sea level to 6,000 ft) have really been getting to me. My midwife told me to drink 3-4 liters of water a day. I think that’s the most I’ve ever had to drink, but it’s worth it if it protects my baby and my health.

I’ve found that I’ve been really good at keeping up this goal. I keep a water bottle on my desk at work at all times, which makes it easier for me to sip all day long. I usually end up drinking the equivalent of 10 glasses of water a day. (heh, except for today since I got a Jamba Juice)

I didn’t drink nearly as much water today as I did last week, mostly because I’m super tired and I went for coffee instead of water. Now I think I was tired because I was dehydrated. I’ll remember to reach for the water first. I also bought a diet iced tea mix to work today, so I can drink more water in the guise of tea. I haven’t tried it yet, but hopefully it tastes good. :)

I drank like 5 bottles of water each day for the last 4 days. I’m so proud of myself. I stopped ordering anything with calories to help with my goals of losing weight, saving money, and drinking more water. It makes a total difference, and I’m glad that I have been able to stick with it.

I drank at least 4 bottles of water today. I’m doing so good. :) I think having a water bottle at work helps so much.

I’m really sick so I had like 5 cups of tea today. That’s a lot of water, right? I hope so. :P Does tea have a diuretic effect on the body the way coffee does?

I’m keeping a water bottle with me at my desk at work, so I can drink more. I want to drink at least 2 bottles while I’m working, in addition to the water in tea, etc. that I may drink also. I ordered water with both my meals today, so that helped a lot too!
