My friends just got engaged recently and I was asked to be a bridesmaid in their upcoming wedding.
Two years ago, without the intentions of hooking two friends up or changing their lives for the better, I happened to do just that. My friend Nicole told me that sometimes she thinks that if it hadn’t been for me, they never would’ve ended up together which is too much credit on my part, but flattering nonetheless.
The real reward though is not on me for bettering their lives, but for my friends who’ve found the person they want to spend the rest of their lives with, and I couldn’t be happier for them.

I feel that...

This is more a principal or moral than a goal because changing peoples lived for the better must be a way of life – something you strive to do everyday. Like for example – healthy eating. I feel like I have done this before and would love to continue doing it.

Hauki told me that I changed her life for the better. I can assure you that she has also changed my life in many ways and surely for the better. I can barely wait to see what the future brings for us two. :)

I’m going to belatedly declare this down for the work I did in Mexico and further for being my friends pillar of support right now, I know I have changed his life for the better, he even told me so.

sabryn
is watching the emails stack up like tetris blocks.
but honestly right now I can’t think of anything. Besides, I’ve been told by several people that I’ve improved their lives by either setting a good example, giving advice, or just being there. So while it’s a little anticlimactic…I’m done. :)

and I’d like to think that the fact that I exist (and continue to exist) makes a lotta people’s lives fantab. So I’m going to check this goal off for now… although that certainly doesn’t mean not clicking the “I want to do this again” button!

I think i changed this little girls life by giving her some “Special advice” On a very important topic that i doubt she like me to tell anyone …. lets just say she’ll be making some very important changes and have to have a lot more responbiltys.

Hi fellow team mates! I came across this easy way to change somebody’s life (for the better) today, and thought i’d share it with all of you do-gooders.
For every search you do through this page, Microsoft will donate money to ninemillion.org. Set it as your homepage, instead of whatever search engine you currently use, and you’ll be making a difference several times a day, if you are anything like me in your browsing habits ;)
Search here to give to ninemillion.org
ninemillion.org’s website
The offer is open until 31st March 2007. Happy searching!
(By the way, i’m not in any way associated with either Microsoft or ninemillion.org, i just came about this in my daily browsing)
:)

all the time, often without knowing it. But I’ve used this goal to spur myself into finally sponsoring a child, something I’ve been meaning to do for a very long time. I have no idea whether the money I give really does go towards an individual child’s needs, or whether it’s just a marketing device (with the best of intentions) that personalizes the act of charity; but I don’t really care. Either way, I hope it really will change somebody’s life for the better.
