So, I haven’t really noticed any differences in these first couple weeks BUT, yesterday I was undressing and I noticed where my hip bone is supposed to be! I am regaining my shape! I couldn’t get over it for a second. My hips and stomach are transforming once more into two separate entities! It was exciting.

So I’m doing your typical setup: counting calories and exercising.
Right now, I’m exercising three days a week and eating 1600 calories max a day. As long as I eat the right things (lots of protein, fiber, etc), I’m not hungry at all. I find if I eat the wrong things (fat, and other junk), I eat more calories and feel less full.
I’m using Fitday.com to keep track of my calories, weight goals, and calorie burning. It’s pretty handy. I don’t think I’d be doing so well without it.
My next step is to exercise more. I think I want to start running every weekday morning, because I love the way I feel afterwards. It’s a great way to start the day. I also want to use the weekends for longer hikes through the National Park, and bike rides on the Railroad Trail.
So, I think I’ve achieved the opposite of this goal.
New attempt for the summer.
...for like a month.
But I am back on track. I am determined to fit into those gorgeous jeans.
I will be beyond completely satisified with myself when I can confidently fit into a certain old pair of jeans. These jeans are beautiful, if you fit into them just right. And hopefully, I can pull them off again.
I’m still eating salads in the dining hall, and working out a couple times a week, but I’m afraid I’ll actually have to commit and sacrifice if I actually want to obtain this goal. Darn, I have to do work?
So, this sort of ties into my 500 miles to clock on the aerobic gym machines. When I run the elliptical with straight posture it works my abs, and of course, aerobics work off calories and eventually fat!
So due to my exercising and salad eating these past few weeks, I can see the form of my upper abs underneath my flab, and my flab on my mid abs has some sort of plateau that may have mid abs underneath. The elliptical doesn’t really work my lower abs, but once I get in shape, I can do some crunches.
That all sounds disgusting, but I only have a couple inches of fat I’m trying to rid myself of, so it’s not as dramatic as I’m making it out to be, just stating progress.
ahhh, with my crazy 500 miles in one semester goal:
This stomach is going to be gone in… well, one semester.
I’m excited.
