So I have now seen the majority of Tarantino’s movies
bar True Romance (fully) and Death Proof, which I’m in the process of watching- once I put the dvd on, and Best Friend’s birthday is on youtube. So will finally achieve this- although he’s coming out with Inglorious Bastards at some point, so let’s hope this list is never complete, and that he keeps making movies.

Jackie Brown fully, was better than I thought before possibly because previously I had missed over half the beginning. Was interesting to see Pam Grier, only other place I’ve seen her is in The L Word, she must be a very cool woman to be in a Tarantino film and a lesbian series.

Just watched Resevoir Dogs, which was good, but was late at night and on my mum’s computer so may want to watch it again, didn’t really like it, prefer Pulp Fiction much more, but I think that may only be because of the torture scene which wasn’t very graphic, but the burnt alive thing really freaked me out as I’m worried about a friend who’s gay and moving abroad and recently there was a homophobic murder there where the guy was set on fire afterwards. Just brought up nasty images. Need to watch it when I’m less ‘bias’. The music was very cool though as was the 70’s guy’s voice and I liked the look of the warehouse.

Not sure I want to do this anymore as Hostel looks a bit freaky, and I’m sure it said it was directed by QT but also said was done by Eli Roth (who I thought was also an old actor (well 50’s-60’s)) so very confused. Either way it looks just plain gross in the sort of SAW type genre, and I was a complete wuss with SAWI watched my friend’s face rather than the dvd, and that was enough to convince me I didn’t wanna watch it. EEEw

True Romance which was written by QT, was not very impressed, but then missed lots of it, and also it wasn’t directed by QT, acting and script were poor though, v poor.

Looks like I have a ways to go. I just got back into the movie scene a few years ago after a good 5 year break, so I have lots to catch up on.
p.s – the films marked RED are the ones I consider to be masterpieces.
