Lots of them from the 70’s focusing on meat (I’m eating an almost meat-free diet) and I’ve never used them. They were hand me downs. They are in the charity pile as well.
Since I have been losing weight I decided today was a good day to go through the numerous bags of clothing clogging up my life. I managing to pull out five bags for charity and then come up with some more that fit me again and that I will where for work. It was like going shopping. I found things I haven’t worn in 2 or 3 years and all still in great condition. Next I will need to pull all the stuff that is too big off of the hangers and send that off to charity.
Just responded to a ‘wanted’ on Freecycle and someone is coming to collect this on Monday
we cleared off his bookshelf and have a whole box of things for charity. Will have to take them in the next week.
I love Real Simple Magazine and for some reason I thought it was a good idea to hold onto every issue I bought for the last 3 or 4 years. I have since decided to dump them all. I am looking through each one first and cutting out favorite recipes and each one has a quick refer to thing at the very end as well that I am also cutting that out. When it comes down to it though. I have not once referred back to these magazines and they are taking up precious space in my craft area so it is time for them to go. I may bring a few of the recent issues into the office and leave them in the break area as we need some newer reading material but the rest of them will end up in my recycle bin and as much as I love this magazine I will not renew this magazine I will not renew my subscription so I can stop the clutter that comes with it now. :o)
