If I had read more books during the summer, I would have gotten to 50. I’m going to try again this year.

This book is so incredibly thought provoking. If you are incapable of reading a book without chapters, then this isn’t the book for you. It just reads, you know? There are breaks and parts but no chapters. It’s beautifully written!
If you have ever been discouraged by a Jane Austen book before, you are like me. If you have ever thrown down Emma, Persuasion, or Pride & Prejudice in frustration, you are also like me. If you have only wanted the Jane Austen experience without the difficulty, I suggest you read Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen. The lovely Miss Austen wrote this when she was in her early twenties and it is so much easier to read than any of her better known books. Disregard this message if you have previously read the books afore mentioned. I just finished it (four days) and loved every minuted of it. I had no trouble with the formality of diction. If you truly understand the message, this book will make you laugh out loud and bite you lip in frustration at all the right times. In this wonderfully satirical novel, Miss Austen warns girls not too be too innocent, especially in regards to men, but also to hope for the best and not let trifling disappoinments get you down. Oh and beware of arrogant men and compulsive liars. I would love if you read this book and told me what you think! Thank you!
the books I started in 2006 if I’ve already read 100 pages of it. I have to tie up those loose ends before I start a completely new book list. I’m excited to read Angels and Demons this year though!!!
